I always loved the 86th Street Mix of this and unfortunately there were no CD rips of this to work with. Rikkie kindly recorded his vinyl for me and that is what I based most of the mix on. There are a few flown in bits from another mix that David Strong supplied me, most notably a blatant Michael Jackson sample from Beat It that I used after the break! Plus extra samples here and there and some FX. Now locked to a perfectly mixable 135bpm. The beatmapping a lone of three different mixes I prepared took me 5 days in Ableton Live until I was satisfied. Then I brought everything into Cubase to assemble the mix. As I had multiple versions to take parts from I built up the mix manually bar by bar until I was happy with it. The mix length is approx the same length as the 86th Street mix but tighter and more punchy in my opinion.
