Short Prelude & Fugue in C is really written for pipe organ with pedal - this here is a reed (pump) organ, with no pedal board, but a foot treadles instead to provide the wind for the reeds. The bass pedal has been transcribed to the left hand, then some of the left hand needed to be shifted to the right, which makes playing these old instruments that much more enjoyable! This piece is attributed to Bach, but possibly (likely?) it was composed by Krebs, a student of Bach. I posted this piece six years ago as my first YouTube video, using a simple camera and no recording equipment. Today, using a DSP and laptop with good microphones and an HD camera, the recordings are better - other than on this one something went wrong with the camera and the focus is a little off.
