In Day 4 and 5 of this Elgin install trip, I’m pushing through a lot—physically, mentally, and technically. My dental bridge fell out first thing in the morning, but I still pushed through the day working on cameras, locks, roof mounts, outdoor angles, cable pulls, and all the last items on the list before heading home. In this video, I replace indoor and outdoor cameras, shim and adjust multiple magnetic locks, troubleshoot broken hardware, mount a new turret, upgrade wiring, pull new CAT6 runs, get up on the roof to install the east wing cameras, build custom L-bracket rigs for outdoor mounting, clean up wiring, plan additional cameras for blind spots, and map out the next steps for the client’s full building security plan. I also take you through a complete walkthrough of everything completed this trip—door access, cameras, switches, racks, cable paths, the future media room, youth building upgrades, and the full set of next-phase recommendations.
