“He is part commando, part detective, part spy. He is Hunter.” That’s the familiar tagline for this 1967-1969 Australian espionage series on the Nine Network. As Wikipedia explains, “The title character, John Hunter, was an agent working for SCU3, a sub-division of the [Australian Security Intelligence Organisation]-like COSMIC (Commonwealth Office of Security & Military Intelligence Co-ordination).
