In Spain's Canary Islands, the Teide volcano produced two strong earthquake swarms this week, involving a combined more than 800 earthquakes. These occurred across 2 distinct hybrid earthquake swarms, even including a 90 minute tremor signal which had not been detected at this Tenerife volcano beforehand. Today's video discusses two interpretations of what these swarms could be caused by in the opinion of a geologist.
