And never in my long career have I ever seen a car this age with such a long clear history of ownership. It also includes a large cache of detailed restoration records. Beautiful 1926 Ford Model T Tudor that was expertly built with all of the desirable options making it easy as ever to drive. Includes registration records dating back to 1934 right here in California and has been with the same enthusiast owners for nearly 30 years. The original engine was beautifully rebuilt and features Model A rods, adjustable valves, and a 5:6-1 aluminum head, 1 1/2 inch crankshaft, and a ball bearing fan. A Rucksell 2-speed axle provides additional gearing, and it starts easily with its 12-volt electrical system; electric starter, electronic ignition, and alternator. This wonderful Model T is alive with history, in tip-top shape and ready to go! It includes halogen headlights, shatterproof glass, tachometer, removable trunk and frame, auxiliary phone charging port, and more. They purchased it from a Sonoma resident then embarked on a stunning restoration that would ensure reliability and comfort during tours such as the "Centennial Model T Tour" of 2003 where it completed 3,000 miles from Los Angeles to Dearborn. Handling is dramatically improved with front hydraulic stabilizer, steel wheels with excellent wooden spokes (spares included) wrapped in Universal 4-Ply 4.50/4.75-21's. The brakes are standard mechanical. Inside is tidy and comfortable with a well-insulated cab and nicely padded seats. It has an added tachometer and phone charging port. The windows all roll up and down easily. The starter button is on the floor. It's very nice for long drives and has plenty of room in the back for friends and family. The exterior is in beautiful condition finished in its original color, Channel Green with black fenders. The fit and finish are excellent and so properly cared for that you would never suspect this to be a senior restoration. The trim, glass, and brightwork all show beautifully. It features a clever and innovative removable trunk and frame allowing it to carry both trunk and spare, shatterproof glass for safety, and halogen headlamps for improved visibility.
