This is by far the most budget friendly option out there in regards to an aftermarket intake manifold. (Link Below) We also complete initial testing on my own 1991 Toyota MR2 with a 2GR-FXE swapped engine. The only difference in regard to a regular 2GR-FE (after swapping to the 2GR-FE camshafts) is the compression ratio. It should make approximately 15-20whp more then a normal 2GR-FE engine. A 3rd car is also featured in this video that ALSO has a 2GR-FE engine installed. The only difference is it is running an E153 transmission, which is known to reduce whp output slightly more then a regular E351, which is installed in my mr2, as well as the 2008 Toyota Camry you have seen in previous videos. The numbers we achieved in this video were quite disappointing across the board.
