Methodology I looked at the cash and redemption prices of over 500 hotels for the nights of Saturday April 30th and Tuesday May 3rd. Prices were checked on March 28th before dynamic pricing was introduced and on March 31st after dynamic pricing was introduced. Every Marriott category from 1-8 was represented multiple times. Hotels came from multiple countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The sample should not be considered random or fully representative because I made sure to include hotels in specific cities where dramatic changes were expected.
