17/150 In this G/Fore vs G/Fore comparison, I test the MG4+ Camo Accent against the redesigned MG4+ O2 Camo to see if G/Fore actually fixed the major issues from the original. Both shoes look incredible on the shelf — but on the course, they perform very differently. The original MG4+ starts strong with a cushioned, stable-feeling first step, but quickly reveals its limitations: a high heel drop, stiff upper, significant heel slip, pressure points along the lateral forefoot, and a surprisingly disconnected feel during follow-through. The new MG4+ O2 Camo brings real improvements: Lower heel drop Better traction More balanced platform More comfortable midsole Better lacing and outrigger support But it still retains some of the original’s issues — especially heel movement and that persistent pressure line. ⛳ In This Video, I Compare: Comfort over a full round Heel slip severity in both models Pressure point consistency Upper stiffness and natural movement Traction difference (O2 is noticeably better) Stability during lateral movement Overall walking experience Which one feels more grounded Performance during chip shots, irons, and driver swings Final verdict: Which one should you actually buy? ⭐ My Scores MG4+ Camo Accent: Comfort: 6.1 Performance: 6.5 MG4+ O2 Camo: Comfort: 7.7 Performance: 8.1 🏁 Final Verdict The MG4+ O2 is undeniably the better shoe — lower drop, better traction, improved outrigger, and a more balanced midsole. But heel instability still exists, the upper remains stiff, and the same pressure path returns. If you loved the look of the original MG4+ but couldn’t handle the instability, the O2 is a meaningful upgrade — just not a perfect one.
