Making Dekuyper Peach Schnapps | From Scratch

This is my journey of rediscovering DeKuyper PeachTree Peach Schnapps and all of the dark dive bar memories that come along with it. So join me as I try to recreate the iconic and original peach schnapps! As a note, I'm looking forward to making more liqueurs from scratch in the near future, preferably with a little more organization and with ingredients that aren't entirely out of season. Be sure to let me know in the comments what liqueur I need to add to the list. ______________________________________________ DemKuyper PeachTwig™️ Peach Schnapps 220g Brandy 220g Vodka 400g Peaches Allow the brandy, vodka, and peaches to infuse for 2 (or more) weeks. Strain and measure your volumetric yield. Sweeten with equal parts simple syrup(1:1), by volume. NOTES: I used frozen/peeled peaches. I would highly recommend fresh, ripe peaches.
