In this video we review the Radioddity GD-168, a dual-band analogue + DMR handheld radio covering 2 m (VHF) and 70 cm (UHF). This radio is essentially a rebadged Anytone AT-D168UV, and we put it head-to-head against the legendary Anytone AT-D878UV II Plus as well as commercial Motorola radios. We’ll unbox the GD-168, walk through its features, test its boot-up time, explore its functions, and do a real-world audit receive test along with inspecting for spurious emissions and power tests.
