I started working on this video in mid August. I wanted to upload it on the 20th of August, but it wasn't quite ready. Back in April, after I published my 1st real 420 combo video, I found one more 420 combo with a different character. I didn't think much of it at the time. It wasn't a big deal that I didn't include it. It did however kind of snowball when I was practicing another different character soon after that and got more 420 combos. Then I decided "ok so let me actually put in the effort to see what 420 combos I can make up." The previous 420 combo was mostly combos I got 420 damage with various characters just incidentally in the process of coming up with regular and good combos. I'd say a few of these combos are regular and good, but most of them are definitely suboptimal. It kind of depends on the character and if there's a lot of light attacks and/or focus attacks. I want to put time stamps for each character, but I hope you enjoy the video as a whole. I might put in time stamps later on. The characters I picked were all intentional based on versatility of tools and providing a challenge to see what more could be done with them. Last thing of note, is this is the first and hopefully last time I used a calculator in the process of doing combos. A few characters that can reach maximum scaling upon reaching their ultras, basically have a "magic number" I used as a guide to know if I needed more or less hits in a combo. I didn't use this method for every time I did a combo into a fully scaled ultra, but it definitely helped me break down some combo routes.
