DRIFTWOOD Woodturning an UNKNOWN wood found on Praa Sands Beach, Cornwall, UK

Join me while i turn the 8th piece from this Lump of Driftwood that washed up on Praa Sands beach, in Cornwall, UK, back in May 2017. Upon moving to my new workshop, i uncovered a couple of pieces I still had stored of this as yet unidentified driftwood, waiting to be turned. As with previous pieces of this driftwood, it was full of sand, bits of grit and lots of chisel sharpening required! I haven't yet been able to identify what species of wood this is, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments, my current best guesses are maybe Alder, or possibly cherry/anther fruit wood, however it was quite a reasonable sized trunk!
