This is a portion of a Q&A session of a lecture entitled “The Foundations of the Salafi Da’wah & A Caution Against Opposing It” delivered by Abu Saalih Ilyas Aidarus, to a group of Salafis in Boston, MA, USA. It contains a detailed clarification regarding the matter of taking knowledge from the likes of SPUBS and their affiliates, due to their violations of the Salafi methodology, their slanders against Salafi scholars & disconnecting the salafis from them, and their role in leading Salafis in the West towards a path of extremism and oppression. Additionally, there is a clarification regarding those who believe that the “balanced position” with regards to those on the path of SPUBS and their affiliates, is to take from both sides while turning a blind eye to their falsehood & oppression.
