Whilst in Juneau, Alaska we take the public bus up near Mendenhall Glacier. We hike up the rest of the way. We took the #8 bus from the Downtown Transit Center. Then we take the bus to Costco. It supposed to be the world's smallest. From about 25:08 in the video you can see Romeo the Wolf. He was a lone black wolf that lived in the Mendenhall valley for several years (2003-2009) until poachers killed him. An artist/taxidermist was commissioned to make him look as much like he did when he was alive and he now rests above the exit door. Thank you Renee, Upper left coast tree lover, for the information.
