Also 1932 by Tex Ritter as "Rye Whiskey" - UNISSUED - Released 1996 and 1933 by Tex Ritter as "Rye Whiskey Many Different Variations Issued on Continental 8012 A. and EP 32 (1950). From LP "Famous Cowboy Songs" (1950). Also Recorded 1958 as "Jack O'Diamonds" 1974 as "Rye Whiskey" Recorded Circa 1946 New York City - Slim Clark (gt/vcl solo)...Producer : Don Gabor. Born Raymond LeRoy Clark in Springfield MASS (1917 - 2000) Slim and Kenny Roberts were at one time jointly members of the Red River Ranges and used to try to out-yodel each other.......Slim won the World Yodeling Championship in 1947 and was inducted into the Yodeler's Hall of Fame, along with Jimmie Rodgers, Elton Britt, and Wilf Carter. He was a member of the Western Music Association's Hall of Fame and the Rhode Island Country Music Hall of Fame and Received The Pioneer Award Downeast CMA. Also 1980 Maine CMA Hall of Fame 1989 Massachusetts CMA Hall of Fame 1996 Walkway of Stars Nashville, TN 2000 Cowboy Hall of Fame (posthumous)
