DIY Elevated Chick Brooder | Complete Build

Although horse and cattle troughs will get the job done, we were looking for a cleaner more efficient way to raise our chicks while they're in the brooder stage. This DIY chick brooder has many benefits including an elevated stand for the chicks to be eye level and easier to monitor, cleaner environment for the chicks to walk around in, an automatic waterer and the (soon to be) automatic feeder. It's a no hassle, less mess design that we are loving so far! We got this idea from a channel we love to watch, Living Traditions Homestead, and had to try it out for ourselves.
