MC GWS 2025: Global Experts Optimistic About India's Growth, Call for Strategic Investments

At Moneycontrol Global Wealth Summit 2025, experts expressed confidence in India's growth trajectory. Florian Neto of Amundi projected 14.5% growth for India and praised the rupee’s stability. Norway’s Ambassador May Elin Stener highlighted the country’s sovereign wealth fund, which has tripled investments in India over five years, citing strong bilateral ties. Vishal Mahadevia, MD, Head of Asia Private Equity & Global Co-Head, Financial Services, Warburg Pincus stressed the need for India to stay competitive to attract investments, particularly in labour-intensive manufacturing. Ankur Gupta, Head, Asia Pacific & Middle East, Brookfield’s Real Estate Group said that India is a market which will never be less volatile and this is probably the best investment environment in India. He also highlighted that clearly India is the leader of global south, capital needs to find its way to high growth and medium inflation economies like India.
