this is a NG+ no intro + no orphanage speedrun, it is a proof of concept run using a mod to skip the entirety of orphanage (an 8 minute section.) there is a high likelihood that this will be a real category, and as such, this is the fastest time anyone has ever completed resident evil 9: requiem to my knowledge (within the parameters of what will likely be the established speedrun rules.) enjoy. catch us live on   / nyiddle   where we're working on all sorts of stuff for RE9. live daily. *FAQ* Is playing in first person/third person faster? There are 2 (maybe 3) Grace sections where playing in 3rd person is slightly faster due to her stumble-run being insanely fast compared to 1st person. For all other sections, 1st person is faster due to movement being easier, less staggering, and generally less floaty. You started after the intro? This is the "No Intro" category where we start when Grace picks up the lighter. It is a real speedrun category. Wtf happened at the orphanage? No Intro uses a "orphanage skip" mod (work in progress) to skip the entirety of the orphanage. Why infinite ammo/RPG/shouldn't this be a separate category? Right now, there are no categories. When the leaderboards go up in 2 weeks this will likely be considered an "Any% NG+" speedrun, which is a separate category. I also plan on running NG and probably Insanity when I get around to it.
