STAR WARS RIDE HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS | RISE OF THE RESISTANCE | THE ACCESSIBLE TRAVELER A Star Wars Ride at Hollywood Studios and Disneyland is “Rise of the Resistance”. It combines chilling trackless darkness, and a walk-through, motion simulator, including a drop ride system. It will put you into the middle of an altercation between the Resistance and the First Order. You are a recruit to be trained to go on a mission given to you by a hologram of Rey. You then go into your training quarters to be sent to your transport. Your transport is then taken over by the First Order which you are then sent to an interrogation room only to be rescued and proceed to the ride which takes you on a spellbinding trip through Kylo Ren’s ship only to escape and be whisk back to the Resistance headquarters. The ride is so interactive you forget where you are. The popularity of the ride makes it quite tricky to be able to experience it. Waiting outside the park only to wait for the time of the parks opening and then you are at the mercy of the speed of your fingers in order to get your boarding pass. It all must be a skill, and the Accessible Traveler will give you some tips at the end of the video in order to make it possible.
