Ep 5: Approach Approved!

In this episode we will finally get the stamp of approval from the county. The approach has been approved and fully permitted! Blackhawk Excavation did an awesome and timely job given the weather conditions. And my new friend Rob from the county seems to really love the property. We ran into a few challenges delivering the last loaf of rock and got the dump truck stuck. The good news is there's a dump truck over the old gold miners canal, and the means we are making progress. Now that the road is in I can begin doing some major clearing and shaping of the land, deciding where I want the house to go once and for all. Soon I'll be submitting plans to the county and digging in to some real hands on projects. Next episode I rent a skid steer and spread gravel to create the path down to the creek.
