In this video, I will be giving you strategic analysis of the new Łupków Pass map in Battlefield 1. I personally really like the map; wide open, with long sightlines but also plenty of flanking routes that allow you to bypass entrenched enemies and attack from behind. The lack of vehicles makes battles far more dynamic, in my opinion, since you will not have to face an enemy tank camping a certain part of the map, shutting down all gameplay. The map does have plane spawns but it is difficult to be overly effective as a pilot, since the tall trees make strafing ground troops a considerably dangerous task. And once the new Russian machine gun is released, life as a pilot will become even more hazardous since the blisteringly fast fire rate of this weapon makes it an outstanding tool in combating planes. I believe that the key to winning games on Łupków Pass lies in effectively controlling the high ground, in the centre of the map, around points "Charlie" and "Duff" and using this central spawn position to attack and take surrounding capture points. Effectively holding the centre while making sure that the enemy team does not have the remaining five points to themselves is a challenging balancing act to get right but if you're team can do this, victory is assured!
