This was supposed to be a fun gravel ride in Vancouver... It turned into something harder, slower, and way more demanding than I expected... and somehow, that’s exactly why it was so fun! In this video, I follow a local through Fisherman Trail (a Vancouver gravel ride in mount Seymour), deal with terrain that doesn’t care how fit you think you are, and sit with that quiet post-ride feeling where you’re wrecked but deeply satisfied. No racing. No hype. Just a real ride, real fatigue, and the kind of effort that reminds you why you ride in the first place. If you’re into gravel cycling, long days on the bike, and the reflective side of riding, this one’s for you. --- Follow the rest of the adventure: • Instagram: @julienpier • Strava: / strava • My production company (Onirique): https://www.oniriqueproduction.com Gear I used on this trip: • Bike: 2025 Argon 18 Dark Matter • Bike box : Thule Round Trip Sport Bike Travel Case • Action Camera: GoPro 11 • Photo Camera: Fujifilm X-T3 + Google Pixel 7 Chapters : 00:00 – Trying not to wake up our mate 00:56 – Taking the bus to meet the local 02:38 – Chapter 1 : Smooth pavement to begin with 05:10 – Chapter 2 : When it gets hard 06:12 – Chapter 3 : Fast, loose and fun 10:46 – Chapter 4 : A change of pace 14:44 – Chapter 5 : Pavement, coffee and a farewel #gravelride #VancouverCycling #UrbanGravel #bikevlog #cyclingadventure
