NIGHTMARE Virgin Select Villa - We had to move! HELP!

Welcome to The Harrisons Adventures! Today we're here to show you the problems we've had with a 5 bedroom virgin select villa on our family holiday to Orlando. We booked a package holiday in store with virgin directly. We requested premium flights and a 5 bedroom select villa which we were assured the select villa was a slightly upgraded villa to their standard selection. We wanted a larger villa with a pool as we brought my parents and our son Alfie and we should have been guaranteed a location within half an hour of Disney/universal. We understood that we couldn't request a specific location and one would be allocated to us just before our holiday begins. A couple of days before we were due to fly we were our villa location in Davenport which was a little far out but just within the half an hour range from universal. The flight with virgin Atlantic went well on the day, we managed to get the car from Alamo smoothly and were really excited to go straight to the villa once we landed. HOWEVER, once we arrived at the villa, the location was on an industrial estate and did not feel family friendly at all. Once entering the villa, we had many problems, both with safety and cleanliness.. to the point where we didn't even unpack! We couldn't get hold of virgin that evening, even on the emergency helpline which led us to change our plans the next morning and head to love rentals ourselves to complain about the disgusting villa and ask to move. This went back and forth for 2 days with no avail. We were extremely fed up and at this point found the virgin offices near universal and went in directly ourselves as nobody was helping. We finally managed to move on day 3 and could start enjoying the rest of our holiday. However if we hadn't of driven to the offices ourselves, this problem would probably not have been rectified by virgin. The customer care in America was next to none and I would recommend never booking a standard villa through virgin.
