Following a June vote of no confidence in Michigan State Police leadership, Senate Republicans are meeting Thursday to call on the governor to dismiss them. The Michigan State Police Troopers Association (MSPTA) and the Michigan State Police Command Officers Association (MSPCOA) called on Colonel James Grady and Lt. Colonel Aimee Brimacombe to resign after a 98% vote of no confidence in June, and Thursday at 9:00 a.m., Senate Republicans are calling on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to dismiss the two, lawmakers said.
