Chogha Sorkha or Chogha Sorkha, which is also known as Chogha or Chogha Sar Khar, is a volcanic hill in the west of Borujerd city. Due to its special location and 360 degree view, Chagha Hill has become one of the main tourist centers in Borujerd city in recent years. Since the late 1370s, there have been plans for the development of tourism in this hill, which include the construction of a hotel, a lake, and an access road. In recent years, this hill has been called Bam Borujard and Shahada Hill. On one of the paths on the top of Chagha Hill, the element "I love Borujerd" and famous Borujerd's Sardis have been installed. This hill is a rich resource consisting of volcanic rocks, wild plants and small animal habitats. The height of its highest point is about 340 meters from the surface of the surrounding flat land, and its height is about 1396 meters from the sea level. There are two permanent rivers flowing in its west, one of which flows from the side of Qala Hatem village (Baghshah river) and the other from Goldasht (Golroud) side. These two rivers join in the southwest of Chegha hill and flow under the name of Golrud in the Silakhor plain. A dam, a lake and a park have been built at the intersection of these rivers. In the 1360s, parts of the hill were used as a silica mine and its stones were extracted. This part is located in the northeast of the hill overlooking the city and a lake and waterfall have been built in it. With the implementation of tourism and development plans, various parts have been created in Chaga promenade, the most important of which are: Chaga Lake Artificial waterfall Siege Trap (unopened) Elman "I love Borujerd" and Sirdis famous Borujerd The monument of the unknown martyrs Zagros Hotel Arash Kamangir statue Due to its geographical location, Chagha Hill has played a significant role in the development of the settlement in the region. According to local beliefs, on top of this hill there was a fire temple or a fortress, a fort (place of today's water source) and it was a place of worship for the people. In 2016, excavations were carried out for the purpose of road construction in the southern slope of Cheghasarkheh, which led to the discovery of several tombs in this area.
