🇧🇬 BUS JOURNEY | Varna City Transport 9: Railway Station ➔ Golden Sands

Here it is, my first ever Bulgarian bus journey video! Route 9 is operated by Varna City Transport (Градски транспорт Варна) and goes from Varna Railway Station (ЖП гара Варна) to Golden Sands (Златни пясъци) via Archeological Museum (Археологически музей), Sea Garden (Морска градина), Evskinograd (Евксиноград) & Saint Constantine and Helena. (Св. Константин и Елена). My opinion: 7/10. Decent route, has some good scenery in bits. But the use of 12m buses on it isn't a good idea as the route can get extremely overcrowded. IMO it's better to use 18m bendy articulated buses instead. Also the bus I had (a 12m Solaris Urbino 12 III CNG) struggled massively climbing the final hill towards the Golden Sands terminus. One thing I do really like about Varna's buses is having a ticket machine onboard the bus. This is good because you can buy the ticket you want to buy onboard the bus without having to worry finding a facility in the city to buy a ticket. Oh and Varna's public transport is very cheap, just Лв4 BGN (£1.76 GBP / €2.05 EUR) for an all day ticket... take note UK! Towards the end of the route around Golden Sands. As usual on a fine hot summer day, my phone overheats... luckily, I was able to take million of photos rather than not being able to use the camera at all. Not ideal but better than nothing.
