I DON'T OWN ANYTHING FROM SEGA OF AMERICA! This was a platform game developed and published by SNK for the Neo Geo Pocket Color in 1999. The game is based on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992) for the Sega Genesis, borrowing much of the stage themes and gameplay elements, but featuring unique stage layouts, elements from other Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog games, and extra game modes (So in other words a Demake of Sonic 2 with extra stuffs). Sega's Yuji Naka and the rest of Sonic Team supervised over production. The game was released in December 1999 to positive reviews. Critics felt Sonic Pocket Adventure was a faithful adaptation of the traditional Sonic game formula, most importantly not making any sacrifices to the game's speed. Reviewers praised the game as one of the best among the Neo Geo Pocket Color's library and commended the quality of SNK's hardware. Several members of the SNK development team later formed Dimps which went on to develop several more Sonic games for handheld devices. Although despite using Sources from Sonic 2, the soundtrack for some reason isn't from Sonic 2 instead The soundtrack is From Sonic 3 and Sonic Jam (But mostly from Sonic 3), including The Knuckles' Theme (The Sonic 3 Standalone that is, not Sonic 3 and Knuckles) is also here (which is problably the reason the game will never be rereleased) It was the first Sonic game to be released on a Non-Sega console (well the second if you count the game.com version of Sonic Jam) predating The Adventure (   • Sonic Adventure DX (Director's Cut) Playth...   and    • Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Playthrough  ) rereleases and Sonic Heroes (   • Sonic Heroes Playthrough  . There is no story other than "stopping Eggman to take over the world" and of course the sonic game that got a 10/10 in IGN, How beautiful that is from IGN.
