I am Ludovic, the main and only actor of my modest renovation videos! Well, when I talk about acting... Don't expect a great show, because I've never done theater or anything, I'm just a pruner during the week and a handyman at the weekend, which has nothing to do with it, but the main thing isn't there...! To go into more details about me, I celebrated my 33rd birthday at the end of January 2023 and share my life with my wife Valérie, who does not wish to be particularly visible at present on youtube, which I respect and fully understand. Our place of life during the week is in the Drôme, not far from the city of Valence, but in the countryside! On the other hand, the weekend is not the same story! We both leave 3 hours from our home for our renovation project in Haute-Loire at just over 900m above sea level. We bought in 2020 an old farmhouse consisting of several buildings including a main house, a barn and a small house. This is located on the mountainside, with terraces to form flat areas. The work is substantial, a lot of things to take back whether it is the walls of the buildings, the roofs, the walls of the terraces of the land and so on.... The base is there, but no more. However, I see great potential in it to make it something exceptional, the house of my dreams in short. The day when this will be possible, we therefore wish to leave our dear Drôme to live completely in Haute-Loire and provide hospitality with, for example, a cottage in the mini-castle, and many other ideas, that's not what's missing, you can trust me! But before that there is still a lot of work to do! But with all my tenacity and my energy, as some I think we observed in my videos, I want to discover all the trades, and even if I have explored some of them in totally amateur ways before, I have no training or professional experience in the field of construction, but what a pleasure to rack your brains to try to apprehend each thing as it should be. So I invite you all to follow me in a fantastic project, which I think is in a spirit and style that is not very common on the internet! ---------- For what ? Big question, simply all this work, but especially the shots on site, the assembly takes a lot of time... The equipment in which I invested to try to share better quality videos, as well as self-training (as for the rest 😁) in the field of video editing... All this means that if nice contributors want to help me in this crazy (or crazy?!) project, know that I would be infinitely grateful, and wishing to share the work for the long years to come, I have to hold on for the long term 😌 ---------- What are the rewards? Many series of videos on the works to be discovered over many years, all this on (the) scale (of a) human-e-, made by a Sunday handyman but who puts his whole heart into it! Admittedly I know it's not a big deal, but if it could at least inspire one of you, it would be a big win for me.
