A reminder of what comes after summer. Last year was snow, this year was rain + wind. It was almost a rainout, but they dragged one of the power eaters up from the muddy field, and ran 5 engines on it. A total of 5 engines went on the Power Eater that rainy day. This is #4, a lone 65 Case among the Bakers. It took some time to line up the belt, serious running starts at 4:00. As with some of the others, this video doesn't show the entire run, due to weather issues. The Panasonic is a wonderful camera, but it isn't weather sealed like the A77. There would probably be a market for a sealed version. "We'll run until we run out of belt dressing." The sign "Goin Fillin" is a reference to the use of these engines during the fall harvest, driving from farm to farm to fill silos. I haven't had a chance to see this operation, but it's reported to be pretty spectacular. Lots of grins. The popcorn sound is rain on the plastic bag over the camera.
