I absolutely loved the Witcher 2, but when this one came out and it boasted being bigger and better than the second one, I was slightly intimidated and overwhelmed. I knew this game would suck me in for months, so I knew I had to prepare myself. And the time is finally here. Fresh off of season 2 of the show on Netflix, my interest in the series was rejuvenated, so I figured I better not put it off any longer. We begin a new game, and are reintroduced to Geralt and Yennefer, and we are taught the basics of combat and things, while training our surrogate daughter, Cirilla. We learn this opening sequence was a dream, and pick up with one of the other witchers, and head to a nearby town in search of Yennefer and Cirilla. We get our first hints of where to go by questioning the people in the pub, and will pick up here next time. Not a lot going on in this first episode, but our journey is just getting started.
