Professor Chris French form Goldsmiths College, Univesity of London, used to be the editor of Skeptic Magazine. In this lecture he now tries to work out just how skeptical he should be. He begins with a demonstration in which he attempts telepathy and magic tricks. Professor Christopher Charles French is a British psychologist and vocal skeptic specialising in the psychology of paranormal beliefs and experiences, cognition and emotion. He leads the Anomalistic Psychology Unit at Goldsmiths College, Univesity of London. In general terms, Anomalistic Psychology attempts to explain paranormal and related beliefs, and ostensibly paranormal experiences in terms of known or knowable psychological and physical factors.
