Urban and suburban landscapes are changing fast. Water is tighter, plants are struggling, and many of the systems we’ve relied on simply aren’t holding up anymore. What we’re seeing in the field is clear: when biology comes back into the system, landscapes begin to work again. In this webinar, we’ll share real examples from projects we’re actively involved in—sites where biology-focused practices are helping reduce water use, support declining trees, and rebuild resilience from the soil up. This work doesn’t belong to one profession alone. It takes a network: compost producers, landscape contractors, consultants, arborists, and land stewards learning to work together with living systems instead of against them. Everything we’ll share comes directly from the framework we teach inside Compost Academy. Our mentorship programs are built around learning how to see soil biology, understand what landscapes are asking for, and apply practical tools that lead to healthier, more resilient spaces over time.
