In this video I'm going to talk about some of the dangers of stopping smoking too suddenly AND The Dangers Of Stopping Smoking. I highly recommend that you do stop smoking. But you have to do it correctly. I’ve observed a lot of people who are chronic smokers stop smoking suddenly, and they start gaining weight in the stomach, and they have problems with the heart and other health problems. Some people don’t have these issues, but some do. I believe it has to do with nicotine. Nicotine is a drug that triggers certain body chemicals called neurotransmitters. A neurotransmitter is a hormone-like chemical that travels through the nervous system. Hormones are chemicals that travel through the blood. Nicotine triggers some neurotransmitters that have to do with the stimulation of the adrenal glands and other body parts. Over time, chronic smokers start to trigger the adrenals to the point where they can feel relaxed when smoking. This is because nicotine opens up the arteries around the heart. It also relaxes the bronchial tubes. The receptor that receives nicotine, over time, starts to become resistant. Now, your adrenals become so dependent on nicotine, that if you stop cold turkey, you’re going to have a sudden shift of neurotransmitters that drop way down. At this point, the adrenals can crash and cause a lot of health problems. How to quit smoking correctly: Before you stop smoking, while you’re stopping, and after you stop, you need to replace the raw materials to help build-up those neurotransmitters. The specific ones to replace are: • Phenylalanine • Tyrosine • L-DOPA It may also be beneficial to get B-vitamins from nutritional yeast or a good B complex formula.
