BMC Kaius Review | Faster Than Your Gravel Bike | Contender Bicycles

The BMC Kaius gravel bike is all about going fast, contrary to most other gravel bikes. Much of that speed, features, and inspiration are drawn from the Teammachine SLR race road bike. In our review we show off what makes the Kaius so speedy, how it compares to other gravel bikes, and our ride review thoughts. For a bike that pulls so many features from the Teammachine, the geometry is still uniquely tuned for gravel and dirt roads. Long reach, a low bottom bracket, and shorter stems means the bike is stable across multiple types of terrains. This is no BMC Roadmachine folks; rather the Kaius is a gravel race bike all on its own. In this video we feature the BMC Kaius 01 TWO (seen in blue) and Kaius 01 THREE (seen in orange). Kaius 01 TWO features a SRAM Force AXS 2x12 drivetrain and Zipp 303 S wheels. The Kaius 01 THREE nets a SRAM Rival AXS 2x12 drivetrain and CRD 400 carbon wheels.
