NYCT Bus: Assorted Snowy Xcelsior Bus Loans in Fordham, Bronx (After the Blizzard of February 2026)

Taken 2/24/26 along Fordham Road at University Avenue, Morris Avenue, Grand Concourse, and Valentine Avenue. Seen here are several 2011-2025 New Flyer XD40 and XD60 "Xcelsior" buses on the Bx12, Bx12 SBS, and Bx22 making their way through the snowy streets of Fordham Heights in the West Bronx in the aftermath of this week's blizzard. Due to inclement weather, articulated buses were kept at their depots, which resulted in some buses being temporarily sent over from Brooklyn and Queens for the day to help maintain service. This made for some rare bus action across the borough.
