The Kates - All That Talk

All That Talk is the debut single by West Cork band, The Kates. The song, written by Mide Houlihan, is about standing in your own way and feeling bad about it but also not being sure how to improve or address it. It is about feeling a little frustrated with yourself for not being able to keep up with the world and how it moves. The Kates will release an EP of five original tracks called Pictures Here Of Dreams in September 2024. The band consists of Mide Houlihan, Eve Clague, Mary Beth O Mahony, Liz Clark and Paula K O Brien. Each of the members have released music as individuals and have come together to produce an EP of five songs, having written one song each. The EP is characterised by incredible vocal harmony and powerful songwriting, covering universal themes with consideration and with catchy hooks.
