The scariest but most rewarding decicion I ever took was to quit my job to travel It was going to be for a year, possibly 2... 6 years later im doing my own thing with photography and video, still travelling when I can and enjoying myself. This has more to do with following your own dream than travel fulltime, but to quit your job to travel is what I did to figure myself out and what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. We all think about some truly epic things we would like to do or explore, but few of us pursue that thought and do something about it. I did not want to be a guy just sitting around talking about doing cool stuff. Besides after working as an engineer for big companies for 15 years I was pretty much done helping others achieve their dream. The scariest thing was to say goodbye to the security of the monthly paycheck. It felt like I cut my lifeline. But something cool happens as we make scary decisions that eventually change our lives. We adapt, and make the most of it. Thats a great thing about being a creative. Im not rich to be able to do this, but with a little passive income trickling in each month from passive income, a few freelance gigs here and there and a few bucks from this youtube channel it is now slowly building up to be a decent living. You can do this way faster than I did, as I mentioned in the video, I was enjoying myself a bit too much for a few years before noticing my funds were getting low. I wish I did several things differently to capitalize on the full time travel life, but we are all so smart in retrospect, arent we? Besides, I have some great memories, and now im at it full speed.
