Iseltwald MOST BEAUTIFUL Village of SWITZERLAND?

The Bernese Oberland is one of the most visited regions of all of Switzerland. Many people consider traveling to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Thun or Brienz. However, there is this wonderful little fishing village called ISELTWALD that charms with its unique location and serenity. Laying at the shore of this incredibly turquoise lake, Iseltwald has a specially beautiful appearance, why people name it as one of the most beautiful villages of this region. Iseltwald village can be best reached by boat from Interlaken or Brienz. The boat ride is very scenic and quite comfortable. Arriving by car is possible; however, parking lots are limited; thus consider reaching by boat. It's in particular nice to walk along the shore of Lake Brienz and enjoy the various viewpoints over the houses of Iseltwald and the surrounding Alps and villages. Swimming in the lake is possible during June, July and August and pretty enjoyable. Great places are the pier near the ferry landing or the bay of Iseltwald. An eye-catching motif is Iseltwald's castle that looks very beautiful from various angles. Do not forget to explore the bay area with its many nice houses and photo spots. There are also a few cafes and restaurants for taking a break. Otherwise, walk through the various alleys and enjoy seeing the many traditional houses Iseltwald's.
