Along the way, we soaked in incredible sights, met amazing people, reunited with dear friends, handled some important personal business, and still found time to slow down and relax. Things didn’t always go according to plan—but honestly, that’s part of the magic. It turned out to be an awesome trip regardless. My original hope was to return home via the eastern coast, heading up through Santa Ana and Pagudpud. We’ll save that route for our next road trip. One of the best parts was taking Adela to places she’d never been before and watching her excitement unfold. The “kid” in her kept popping out, and I absolutely loved it.
