DEVCOM Soldier Center 2023 Warfighter Innovation in Science and Engineering Challenge

The Warfighter Innovation in Science and Engineering (WISE) Challenge, a virtual event, will take place again in 2023. All the prestigious U.S. Service Academies will come together in one tough competition where historical excellence will merge head on with the best young minds in science, technology, engineering and math. Cadets/Midshipmen from the United States Military Academy (USMA), the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), the United States Naval Academy (USNA), the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), and the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) will present their innovative science and engineering solutions to Service-specific challenges. They will be judged for innovation, technical approach/analysis, operational impact to the Warfighter, and how well the idea is communicated to the audience. The WISE Challenge is sponsored by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Soldier Center and approved by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research and Technology.
