Ricoh GR IV: Pocketable 26MP Street Camera – Is It Worth the Upgrade?

We sat down to discuss our first impressions of the new Ricoh GR IV - a photographer's compact built around a 26MP APS-C sensor with a fixed 28mm F2.8 lens. It's the fourth entry in the GR series (though that was preceded by the long-running GR Digital series and film models prior to that), and includes elements from previous GR cameras that had been dropped by its predecessor. The GR IV will be available from mid-September 2025 at an MSRP of $1499.
