This may involve promoting their own agendas through the worship service, attracting more members to their congregation, or making more money. In general, many worship leaders seem to be predominantly focused on their own glory rather than glorifying God. This is often seen in ways such as seeking attention and riches, using religious symbols for personal gain, and using their positions of authority to exploit others. Worship leaders who are focused on glorifying God should strive to live lives that are transparent and blameless, act with integrity and respect towards others, and exhibit a genuine love for God and His people. They should also endeavour to use their positions of authority to promote justice and righteousness, and minister to the spiritual needs of their congregations. If you are a Christian worship leader who wants to pursue a ministry that is focused on glorifying God, it is important to seek counsel from someone who knows more about the Lord's work than you do.
