Caring for a child with special needs is complex and often challenging. As well as the emotional and physical demands, parents must often fight for their children to be included - at school, with friends, in their community, even at the playground. Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration fosters a bias-free world for children with disabilities through the creation of inclusive playgrounds and educational programs that unite children of ALL abilities. Meet author and educator, Amber Harrell-Tobey and her daughter Jasmine. They became involved with our mission when they read their book, “Hey Jasmine! Let’s Go to the Park” to our families at one of our My PlayClub playdates. We are going to take you to one of our playgrounds as NCIS's Brian Dietzen leads us through their inspiring story.
