Alpine Gardens to Abel's Traverse to Avalon is a beginner ski run located at Bretton Woods Ski Area. The trails run from the summit of West Mountain down to the bottom of the West Mountain Express chairlift. The run begins to the skier's left of the top of the chairlift on Alpine Gardens, a wide-open trail that gently runs across the top of the mountain. The run then turns to the right on Abel's Traverse, a narrow traverse that begins with a few switchbacks, before crossing the mountain. The traverse eventually ends on Avalon, with the run turning left onto the trail. Avalon gently continues straight down the mountain, featuring a few small dips, before arriving at the bottom of the West Mountian Express.
