My buddy called me the night before to see if I could take his trailer loaded with recently harvested soybeans out to the grain terminal on the Rappahannock River. So, I fired up the Black Knight and made the run. I first had to disconnect the trailer from his field truck (an International Eagle). The load ended up being almost 30 tons (a little over 1000 bushels). It was nice day for a ride through the countryside. He told me to wait until about mid-morning to get to Perdue Agribusiness in Tappahannock, because there'd be long line of trucks waiting at the gate. There was still a line there and it took about an hour before I pulled over the pit to unload.
