Today was a big garden prep day and I had to make some tough decisions. We’re getting a couple massive privet trees removed soon, so I needed to take down my clematis armandii and do some cleanup to get ready. I know some of you will be sad about that vine but it just has not been happy here and the privets have been dropping babies everywhere. I also pulled out an arborvitae that I just was not loving anymore. I would rather have plants that spark joy than keep something that feels like a compromise.
