Hyabusa swapped classic mini build 1969 Episode 8

This week on the hyabusa swapped classic mini build has been a busy one. Firstly I did two small patches on the exhaust tunnel. The first patch was a crazy weird shape but was really fun to make, really happy with the result on that one. The second was much easier, just a flat standard square. Then I took my hand to the other side of the car for a change to remove the drivers side half of the support brace, to find a horrendous amount of rot and rust, it's a good job I'm replacing that floor pan too ey, haha. I then quickly realised I had ordered the wrong support brace, a pre rod change one, I think the difference is just that one is square and one is cylindrical where it seats over the exhaust tunnel. I'm not one for patience so instead of sending it back and ordering the correct one I decided to cut up and shape the one I have. I managed to get it dry fit with cleco clips, it seats really well actually and didn't take too long to shape either. Another happy result for the week. I noticed when editing this video that there is LOTS of me talking...waffling most of the time. If this is something you don't like or like please let me know in the comment, I'm doing my best to be as authentic and normal as possible, maybe I'm just boring, probably haha.
