This is Part 5 of the breakdown series. In this video, we analyse the amphitheatre front-right microphone, positioned just 12 meters from Charlie. By looking at the waveform and timing of the reflections, we find offsets of 31.4m, 41.5m, 69.8m, and 107.5m, all of which line up with the amphitheatre's structure and surrounding surfaces. The result is consistent with every other mic we’ve studied: the reflections travel south into the courtyard corner, not from the Losee Center roof. With this video, we’ve wrapped up the mic-by-mic analysis. Next, we’ll move into TDoA (Time Difference of Arrival), which is where we can use the differences between microphones to calculate an actual bearing for the shot. Previous videos in the series: Mic 1 (7m Right) Mic 2 (Back Right) Mic 3 (Front Right 45m) Mic 4 (Amphitheatre Left 15m) Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
