On December 18th, 2023, an officer responded to a call about a woman, Dakota, passed out in her car with the engine running. Upon waking her, the officer noticed her disoriented state and signs of intoxication, including glossy eyes and difficulty following instructions. Despite admitting to drinking earlier, Dakota denied driving and lacked a valid license. After failing sobriety tests and resisting arrest, she was charged with DUI and operating a vehicle without a license, and transported to the Delr Corrections facility.
